Awareness

Life calls us to expand- expand our perspective, horizons, sense of self. We uncover this way of life when we pay attention.

It is a way of life, isn’t it?

For to live with an open heart, search for the lesson- or lessons-  in our experiences, and participate in the learning process, all necessitate that we live intentionally and mindfully.

Further, our lives are teaching us everything we need to know. There is a lesson in the small, seemingly insignificant moments, as well as something to gain when we walk through life’s most difficult seasons.

This is what happens when we run from whatever life is trying to show us in those moments: We suffer. We trap ourselves in a box.

And I don’t know about you, but being trapped in a box brings to mind feelings of being unable to breathe- stifled is the word I imagine, to be exact.

Small, suppressed, confined. That’s how I would feel.

In other words, that visual signifies anything but big, abundant life.

No growth.

No expansion.

Certainly, no awareness.

That’s not what I want.

Neither do you? Good. I didn’t think so.

The great news is that when we fully embrace life’s tests, we journey beyond limitations. We travel the path to awareness.

Awareness brings peace of mind. It brings the knowledge to change.

When we are aware, we unlock the possibilities.

This month, let’s embrace our inner student. Allow childlike curiosity to lead you down a different path or prompt you to ask life’s meaningful questions.

Hopefully, our Instagram posts will make you think. We’ll be giving you one word to contemplate.

“What does this word mean to me?” “How has the awareness around this word shaped my life?” Those are some of the questions you might be asking yourself when you see our posts.

Remember, the path to awareness begins with a shift in the mind. Commit to the learning process and continue to expand. The result: Positive change is sure to follow.

Dear Reader,

You can travel the path to awareness every day. Begin anew with the intention to take in the world around you. Ask yourself, “What do I need to learn today?”

Become a lifelong student, and your days will be filled with wonder and curiosity.

Life is always teaching, always giving.

How will you pledge to travel the path to awareness this month?

All the best,

Jennifer
